SEVAQ is a self-evaluation tool for quality in e-learning, first developed in a pilot Leonardo Da Vinci Project (2005-2007) coordinated by EFODL, the European Federation for Open and Digital Learning. It is the predecessor to the current SEVAQ+ project under Key Activity 4 (Dissemination and Exploitation) of the Lifelong Learning Programme.
The tool is able to manage the whole process of evaluation: creation of the questionnaire according to the needs and objectives of the different stakeholders and the specifications of the course, submission of the questionnaire to its targeted public, treatment and presentation of the results in a sound and comprehensive way enabling the various actors involved in their analysis and decision-making process. Successful aspects become visible as well as the critical points needing improvements.
The pilot version of SEVAQ has been phased out and replaced with the new extended SEVAQ+ tool.
